The Austyn from Habitat Footwear has been one of the more highly anticipated pro models of the year. The demand of the shoe hasn't necessarily been from a promise of groundbreaking technology or a unique take on an already popular silhouette but because of the phenomenal year Austyn Gillette has been having. Much of it has to do with his stellar performance on the board, but what really brought him into heavy pro contention was his QUIK part that was released by the Berrics in collaboration with Quiksilver.

 Austyn Gillette's first pro model is schedule to hit skate shops on the first of July. With the anticipation leading up, we've got an advance pair to test out from Habitat and we plan on giving you a full review by the time they hit skate shops. We've already started skating it and it's nothing but good news so far.

Habitat's catalog was recently published online to share some of the upcoming product that they have for Spring 12. We're going to take it a step further and show you what they have in store for Winter 12.
