Sneak Peek: DC Mike Mo

DC skateboarding is practically bringing everything they've got to the table with the release of their Spring '13 catalog. We're still waiting on the Nyjah pro model but in the meantime we'll have the chance to be in complete awe of the new Mike Mo pro model, due to release in the Spring of 2013. Mike Mo has been seen in countless places rocking his newly developed pro model, Street League, the B.A.T.B. games & lastly, Walmart just to name a few.

If we can be frank, this Mo model looks promising as fuck. DC has fused this Mo model with a modern look & crazy amounts of technology in the most subtle way possible. Although it appears to be a treated suede, we can assure you that it is not. This Mo model surely wouldn't use something so traditional. It's coming with everything it's got! It's amazingly lightweight, cushy & currently, DC's most technologically advanced pro model. We didn't think it would surpass the Kalis Centric S but it's the tread pattern on the Mo's that just pushed it ahead. This years use of the traditional pill pattern design is a little different too, especially on the Mo pro model. It's inverted to push the grain of the tread pattern a little deeper into the griptape for an intense amount of grip. In addition to that is the Uni-Lite fused midsole & a newly introduced "X" grip in the forefoot area. This "X" essentially burrows into the board to intensify boardfeel like never before. Aside from applauding it's originality, it's something that we can see being mimicked down the line from other brands in an attempt to keep up.

As more news comes in with this Mike Mo pro model, we'll keep you up to date. More sneak peeks to come this week! Stay posted & follow us on Instagram for insta-sneak peeks. @RippedLaces.

  5. The only big complaint I could say I have is the tongue logo. It's bland and a poor attempt at looking cool in my opinion
