Agenda Sneak Peeks 2012: Fallen, Part 1

After an awesome playoff game, the Giants may have won but we are definitely the ones left in tears and in snow. I'll take San Francisco's weather any day over a playoff win, especially after getting a taste of the beautiful weather, steep hills & awesome skate scene. Without dwelling too much, it's about time for another Agenda sneak peek. This week it's Fallen's turn to be in the limelight.

Much like last year, you can expect the Fallen line to have new pro models and interesting colorways as always. This first part of the Agenda sneak peek will highlight the vulcanized models you can look forward to.

Tommy Sandoval's "Kingston", due out Fall 2012.

We'll start things off with an updated version of the Coronado. The Tommy Sandoval model is newly named the Kingston and has some slight changes that blows the Coronado out of the water. Aside from having a more traditional & skate-friendly aesthetic, the Kingston has additional paneling to add to it's durability and lateral support. The updates Tommy & Fallen have made look full proof to make skating the Kingston a longer & more enjoyable experience.

As expected, Fallen continues to bring pro models that regularly push the envelope and Jack Curtin's debut pro model is no exception. The Capitol is Fallen's take on a fashionable and functional skate shoe. Although it is highly fashionable, you can expect more function out of the Capitol than you think. The Capitol has a traditional clean one-piece toe and a neoprene sockliner to add to it's support value. This sockliner will keep your foot secured and positioned correctly at all times but this feature is also here to wear at your leisure. Whether you're looking to skate a ledge or just looking to take it easy, the Capitol can ensure an easy going & relaxed fit. What intrigue's us most is Fallen's use of fabrics for the Capitol. The copper & black colorway is genuine pig suede and another model features full-grain leather throughout. Fallen shows no sign of stopping their commitment to their pro model program and looks to be aging better with each catalog.

Check back on Wednesday for Part 2 of the Fallen sneak peek and try to stay out of the freezing cold.

Peace.
